How TuneRover works
Three steps. Most playlists arrive in about a minute.
-
Set course
Paste a Spotify, YouTube, or Deezer playlist link, an Apple Music export, another playlist file, or a list of songs. You can also open a playlist and click the TuneRover icon.
-
Check the readings
TuneRover finds a likely match for each song on the destination service. Tracks it’s unsure about are flagged for you to review.
-
Land playlist
Spotify playlists are created in account. YouTube playlists open ready for you to save; saved playlists also appear in YouTube Music. For Apple Music, TuneRover gives you a list of songs to add.
Private by design
No server
Everything happens in browser. There is no TuneRover account and nothing to sync.
logins stay put
TuneRover uses the logins already in browser, and they only ever go back to the service they came from.
No tracking
No analytics, no ads. Files you import are never uploaded. Privacy policy
What it can't do, and why
One-click Apple Music
Apple charges developers $99 a year for that. We're a tiny indie team keeping TuneRover free, so Apple Music gets a list of song links instead.
TIDAL, SoundCloud and Amazon Music
Not yet. Each needs an app registered with them, or an invite. Paste the songs or import a file in the meantime.
Downloading music
Never. The songs belong to the people who made them, and streaming on licensed services is how they get paid. TuneRover moves the list, not the music.
