Privacy policy
Effective October 13, 2026. The short version: TuneRover has no server and no account. We don't collect, sell or share your data. Everything happens in your browser.
What TuneRover handles, and where
Your playlists and songs. Read from the services you choose, or from files you import, and processed in your browser.
Your sign-ins. TuneRover uses the Spotify and YouTube logins already in your browser to read playlists and make new ones when you ask. On open.spotify.com, a small script notes the Spotify web player's own sign-in so TuneRover can search and make playlists the way the web player does. It stays in your browser and is only ever sent back to Spotify.
Files. Playlist files you import are read in your browser and never uploaded.
Saved on your computer. Searches (kept for 7 days), the list you're working on, and your settings. Clear saved searches in Settings, or remove the extension to delete everything.
Share card. Drawn on your computer. It only goes anywhere if you share it yourself.
Services TuneRover contacts
Only when you press a button: Spotify; YouTube (Google); Deezer's public API, after you allow it; Apple's public iTunes Search, after you allow it. Their own privacy policies cover your use of their services.
